Special Collections

The Tennessee State University Special Collections and Archives includes African American books, digital resources, bibliography of the Afro-American Culture & History Conference, official publications,  student publications, brochures,  minutes, photographs, and other materials relating to the University.

Special Collections is located on the east wing of the third floor of the Main Campus Library.  Reference services are available from:
Monday - Thursday  8:00 a.m. -  4:45 p.m.  Friday 8:00 a.m. -  4:15 p.m.

We are closed Saturday, Sunday and all Holidays.
Researchers planning to visit the Archives are encouraged to make an appointment.
