The Frances Thompson Collection

Papers, 1923-1992

The Frances Thompson Collection consists of biographical data on Thompson; general and personal correspondence, accounts, bills & receipts, writings by Miss Thompson and other persons, classroom notes, programs, newspaper clippings, photographs such as drawings, printed material from Harvard and envelopes.

Boxes three through five contain various memorabilia such as jewelry, baskets made out of Popsicle sticks and a hand painting of the Martha Brown Memorial Library.

On the walls of the Special Collection Room are the following paintings done by Miss Thompson: President William J. Hale, 1933; Mrs. Jane Hale (President Hale’s Mother) and a drawing of the school seal.
